Nellie Alson: Take One

Ohai :)
I started a new PermaGame in the hopes of eventually starting a pixel_trade legacy. Relevance to this pic-spam update? Nellie Alson was the first to land in this game :D



So here we have Nellie and her cat. Nellie is a Knowledge sim, but a very playful and sweet one.



Here's Nellie's cat, Spiff. I made him myself in CAS*. Oh if only you could make pets in Body Shop. Anyway, he's a genius cat that thinks dogs are beneath contempt and enjoys playtime over anything else.

*At which point, my younger cousin came along and just had to watch. She kept bugging me, and saying "Ooooooh make him have really, REALLY big bug eyes, he'll look so cuuuuuttteee!!". Okay, I love my family, but seriously. Sims is MY BUSINESS, GO AWAY.



Nellie enjoys summer afternoons, strolls in the park and shopping for groceries. Her obsessions surround baked treats - cupcakes to be exact - and watercolour paintings. She adores the paranormal, and is hoping to find herself a lycanthrope that has gone the way of magic. Chances of that happening in this small town are very low. But she's optimistic about it ^^







I thought I'd mention that I'm trying out a new way to edit my pictures. I usually just crop, sharpen and add borders, but this time, I'm trying to mix colour and brightness into them.





It's been ages since I had one of my sims have a pet, so I may take lots of pictures of Spiff in these updates ♥



House tour! I take no credit for building the house, but decorating and furnishing I can ^_^
And yes. It started raining. My game hates me.

Meet Juan Dalton, the Garden Club Member dude-person. At this point, I think lightning flashed and ruined my editing...
In any case, Nellie greets the man and what does he do? Walk away!



Because he apparently had an ulterior motive.
At least Spiff is enjoying himself.



Who knew going outside to recycle a newspaper was so dangerous? Bad luck, Nellie XP
By the way, Spiff scratched Juan. So bad luck for him too.



Lightning did flash in this one, as you can see. I don't know about you, but I find this hilarious XD



Needless to say, Nellie ran straight for the bathroom ;)



Is it just me, or does Juan look drunk or something...?



Juan: You are such a pretty kitty! 8D
Spiff: I'm a boy. BOY.



Well. Seems there's more luck in store for Nellie! Damn the lightning and striking trees.



Luckily for Nellie, she never noticed the fire. I was hoping Juan would, so I could see him panic, but nothing.



Somehow, some way, you are going to BE IN THIS FAMILY. You're no lycanthrope or wizard, but I couldn't care less about Nellie's wants right now. YOU WILL BE IN THIS FAMILY.



You know you're a fantastic host when you cook a meal for yourself, and your guest/s don't care.



Great table manners, by the way.



You know you're wanted when a strange man calls to invite you downtown. Who could resist? :D



Nellie can, actually. Spiff probably can too, judging by how he's "watching the door". I'm not kidding, he was actually watching the door. Didn't last long though, because Juan wanted a piece of him.

Well, that's this update. Short, I know, but I didn't want it to be too long. More shall come soon :)

Nellie is so cute! So is Spiff! Everything is so cute! OMG! And the way you decorated the house was amaaaaazing :3 I'm excited for the next update!

P.S., Juan is a jerk for not noticing Nellie D< She is so cute how could he resist that? Well, I mean, Spiff is pretty flipping adorable too but, you know. Still.
