*cough* Why do I always forget about my poor dreamwidth? Nevertheless, to ring in the new year, I decided to give life to it by changing the colours, background and altering my creations master post and resources post to match my livejournal ones! This way, they're the same on either journal. Also makes for easier navigating ^-^

Hopefully, I can get back to creating and posting images once I've installed Ultimate Collection. Woop. Word of warning: Windows 10 buggered up my Sims 2. So the discs don't work and neither does AnyGameStarter. May or may not happen to you, but just be aware!

Ta ta!

So for those who follow me on my tumblr, you may know that my whole computer crashed on me as I was in CAS. Well, I kinda need a little help :/

My computer used to crash a lot late last year - no matter what I was doing - playing Sims 2, Sims 3, Spore, or just surfing the 'net. We took my computer in to see what the problem was, and the guy there, Michael, said it needed cleaning. So he cleaned it with a can of compressed air, I tested my computer at the shop, and it was fine. I don't remember if it crashed on me again, all I remember is it crashing two days ago. I was playing Sims 2, saved my game, left to do the dishes, came back, unpaused, and my whole computer turned off.

Today, I was in CAS in Sims 3, dragging facial sliders here and there, and then BAM. My whole computer turns off again. I have no idea why this is happening, and it is quite upsetting because it's random, and it's not just my games that crash - it's my whole computer. No matter what I'm doing.

If it helps, I'm running Windows 7 (32-bit) with 326GB of free space. My computer is about four years old (and still runs as well as it did when I first bought it), so I like to think it's not that old. If my computer needs cleaning again, I'm not sure how to go about it. Michael told us specifically not to vacuum it (which is what my Aunt used to do before) and now Michael and his shop are gone, so I can't go to him to clean it for me. I've never bought cans of compressed air before, and I'm not quite sure what kind of stores will supply it. If you can help me out, I would be greatly appreciative :)

Technology just sucks sometimes, you know?
